THE RANT
TOPIC: North Las Vegas Airport Meeting
NAME: James
RANT: I am one of the homeowners that live across from the NLV Airport and I would like to thank all the pilots and homeowners who came to the meeting tonight. But what I would like to know is where were our elected officials? We voted for them to be our representatives and it's a slap on the face that they didn't show up! Whether they can do anything or not, it's suppose to be their job to be involved in the community. Apparently they forgot that elections are coming up, and I for one know who I am not voting for!

RANT: I bought property near the North Las Vegas airport because it was affordable. I knew there was an airport in the immediate area. The people that purchased homes in this area also knew that the airport was in the vicinity and that, occasionally, planes crash. They had and still have the option to move.
TOPIC: Judge Elizabeth Halverson Assault
NAME: Connie
RANT: Just because Halverson gets nasty with her husband -- so a neighbor says -- doesn't give him a right to put his hands on her. She needs to kick him to the curb and get her life together!
TOPIC: Sagging Pants Ban

RANT: I've heard about some cities fining people for wearing their pants off their butts. I think that Las Vegas should have this law. Those people who sag their pants don't realize how totally stupid they look.
TOPIC: Gas Prices

RANT: How come when the price of oil jumped up the oil companies raised the price of gas, but now that oil prices are down the price of gas has only gone down a little?
