LAS VEGAS -- As soon as Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential nomination came in, things at the Valley’s McCain headquarters kicked up a notch. The office said a steady stream of new volunteers came into the office after the announcement. The Republicans call Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin an “every woman,” a mom and a hunter who takes her children to hockey practice. They said she passed a lot of legislation to reform ethics in Alaska. But then the criticisms come in.She's relatively unknown; she has a lack of experience; and some feel this was a move to simply get the votes of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton supporters.
