LVMS Bullring Activities Postponed

LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Motor Speedway officials postponed this weekend's Bullring events due to a power failure at the 3/8-mile facility.This weekend's events have been rescheduled for Sept. 5 and Sept. 6.The power failure is limited to the Bullring and will not impact the PSCA and Jr. Dragster events scheduled for Friday through Sunday at The Strip at LVMS."We are working to restore power at the Bullring as soon as possible,” Chris Powell, LVMS’s general manager, said in a news release. “We apologize for the inconvenience to our fans and competitors."
The Sept. 5 test session includes racing for INEX Bandoleros, Legends Cars and Thunder Roadsters. The Saturday-night stock car racing program of twin Super Late Model/Late Model Combo class features, Legends Cars, Thunder Roadsters, Chargers, Modifieds, Bombers and a demolition derby will be held Sept. 6.
