LAS VEGAS -- The water debate may be over.The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting White Pine County leaders have signed off on an agreement that will compensate the county for operations there.The Southern Nevada Water Authority will pay the county $156,000 this year and then $45,000 a year after that.
The SNWA eventually plans to pump at least 13 billion gallons of groundwater a year from White Pine to the Vegas Valley.
