LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County director of aviation said Friday’s North Las Vegas plane crash is just another tragic reminder of a much-needed change.Right now, experimental planes with new pilots can fly out of any airport, but Randall Walker wants to go to the FAA and ask for changes.Walker suggests other airports like the ones in Jean and Boulder City would be better for experimental plane flights.North Las Vegas Airport has taken safety steps, including widening and painting the runways. Those things don't help much though, when most of the accidents are either mechanical failure or pilot error.
