Nye County sheriff’s deputies said a man previously arrested on 70 different charges was arrested again on Tuesday after an alleged burglary.

Investigators said the latest arrest of Michael J. Fuhrmann stems from a burglary that occurred on Aug. 15. Police said during that burglary Fuhrmann stole several vehicles and generators -- one of the vehicles and two of the generators were recovered, FOX 5 News reported.

According to police reports Fuhrmann was arrested by detectives after a short foot pursuit where he was apprehended hiding underneath a vehicle near N. Leslie Road where Fuhrmann was residing.

At the scene Nye County General detectives also arrested Candy May Keyes, Michael Allen Hardy and Robin Diane Farester, on charges that they harbored Fuhrmann -- a known wanted felon. Upon being booked, police said Farester was also found to be in the possession of two credit cards not belonging to her.

Keyes, Hardy, Farester and Fuhrmann were all booked into the Nye County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

Nye County detectives said they were also able to charge Fuhrmann with additional counts of burglary regarding a burglary from June 2007. Police said Fuhrmann’s DNA was found at the scene of the burglary and he was identified this week as the perpetrator.

Police said Fuhrmann’s previous 70 arrests range from methamphetamine charges, burglary, grand larceny and arson.
