NORTH LAS VEGAS -- A much-needed special delivery was made to a Valley elementary school Tuesday.

Expedia.com donated school supplies to Elizondo Elementary School at 4865 Goldfield St. in North Las Vegas.

Because of the budget crisis, many schools don't have money to buy the basics.

Teachers and staff members unloaded four trucks of school supplies. They received everything from tissue to backpacks.

"Put them in our store rooms so we can create backpacks and supplies to give to our students. It's very exciting for our students to receive all these supplies," said principal Alyson Jones.

The students get to keep all of their supplies and take them home.
