LAS VEGAS -- A suspended judge’s former bailiff gave explosive testimony Tuesday at a discipline hearing.Johnnie Jordan was District Court Judge Elizabeth Halverson's courtroom bailiff and said the judge humiliated him by, among other things, asking him to rub her feet.At one point in the hearing, he stood up, shouted and cried, saying the ethics commission needs to remove her from the bench.Halverson denied all of the humiliation accusations. She's also accused of falling asleep on the bench during trials in which the bailiff had to wake her up. Her defense is that she was unconscious due to a medical condition. There are also allegations that she asked Jordan to kill her husband. Jordan said he thought she was serious, but at the hearing, the defense asked him why he never went to police.Halverson has admitted to one accusation, in which she inappropriately talked to a jury on one of her trials. She said that was a mistake. Her lawyer said she should not be removed from the bench because of a mistake and also said the prosecution doesn't have much of a case.
