LAS VEGAS -- The two newest additions to the Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden have been named, thanks to some Moore and Charlotte Hill elementary students.Star and Celestial were born in April and will now be featured at the Mirage exhibit.More than 60 students from the two schools entered the contest. The winning names came from a first-grade class from Moore Elementary and a third-grade class from Charlotte Hill Elementary."I looked at the little one and said, 'This one is radiant and it's shinning bright, like a star in the sky,'" Siegfried Fischbacher said, "and they named him that way."
The magical pair started their breeding program to preserve rare white tigers 25 years ago. There are now more than 200 white tigers all over the world.
