TOPIC: Las Vegas Job Market
NAME: Cameron
RANT: It should be noted that for each permanent job created on the Strip, another 2.7 jobs are created in supporting industries in the Valley -- think insurance, retailers, restaurants, etc. Between Encore's 5,300 and CityCenter's projected 12,000, we're looking at a big boom in our local economy over the next couple years. Hang in there my fellow Las Vegans! We're almost through this!
TOPIC: Gas Prices
NAME: Dennis
RANT: Have you noticed now that the cost of a barrel of oil is going down but gas prices are still staying up there? The local stations seem to have raised the price every time someone just spoke about a barrel of oil going up. Now that it's going down, they're really slow in responding to cutting their prices. It sounds a bit fishy to me.
TOPIC: Road Construction
NAME: Pamela
RANT: What idiot had the idea to close down the freeway to two lanes, north and south bound? I wonder if it was the same idiot who authorized construction on the 215 Beltway on the Fourth of July!
TOPIC: Post-Operation Temporary Tattoo
NAME: C
RANT: The woman that woke up with a fake tattoo had every right to sue that doctor. When you go into surgery, you are putting your life into that doctor's hands. If he gave her a tattoo without her permission, what else did he do to her while she was knocked out?

RANT: Perhaps the tattoo was inappropriate on the doctor's part, but let it go! I think she just sees an opportunity to cash in. I mean, big deal. Teachers stamp children's hands with stars when they behave in school -- I mean, really. If she is so upset by where it is, why is she allowing it to be shown on national television? If the doctor was truly sick in the head, he could have left her a nice rose shaped scar. This is just a money grab.
