HENDERSON, Nev. -- Henderson police raided four Valley homes -- busting a massive marijuana operation. It happened late Monday night and ended with one Henderson man being arrested.Henderson police said the man who was arrested bailed out Tuesday evening, but his house was still boarded up.Inside, investigators found more than 100 pot plants and a major grow operation.
Henderson residents said they were bewildered by a neighborhood bud bust.“They told everyone to ‘stay in the house,’" said neighbor Ray Hupf. “First thing that went through my mind was how stupid could I be to not see what was going on.”Police arrested Ronald Miller, 33, on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.“I didn't even realize. Saw him go in and go out. He said he was pilot. And I didn't know he had a cultivation going on. The whole house is full of marijuana,” Hupf said.Investigators said 128 marijuana plants, along with paraphernalia, were confiscated. It was one of four busts that happened Monday night into Tuesday morning.Hundreds of plants, some ecstasy and some cocaine was found at three Henderson homes and one Vegas house.“It's been an ongoing investigation. Some of it came from residents of the various areas seeing suspicious activity,” said Henderson police officer Keith Paul.
