The Tropicana Casino and Resort is up and running after reports of E. coli in the water.

The Southern Nevada Health District said the hotel closed on Monday after small amounts of the bacteria were found during a routine check.

Nearly 500 rooms were affected. Those guests were placed in other rooms on the property.

Health officials said two follow-up tests came back negative.

There were no reports of anyone getting sick.
