NORTH LAS VEGAS -- Fire crews were still up on Mount Charleston Monday night, taking care of any hot spots that may reignite after Saturday's plane crash set 12 acres ablaze.Firefighters from all over, 200 of them, battled the Echo blaze.More information has been made available about the two couples killed in the crash. The victims were all from northern California. One of the couples was a beloved pastor of a Bay Area church and his wife. They were celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. Now, four children are trying to cope with their loss.Hugs and tears permeated the congregation at New Lifeline World Ministries. The man and his wife who built the place of worship were killed Saturday night.“It's a bittersweet moment. We do believe to be absent from the body is to be with God in heaven. Rejoice that's where he is now. But we're sad because of our loss. He was a good friend, good teacher, mentor, shepherd of our flock,” said church member Clinton Davis.Eric Nunn and his wife, Tanya, left behind Elorah, Nikolette, Tezianna and Ethan, four children who will now be raised by Eric's brother, Jason.“I'm going to miss him. I just want say he loved this community more than anyone would know. My brother literally spent hours away from family to become a supervisor,” Jason Nunn said. The 37-year-old former Marine and reserve police officer was running for a Contra Costa County supervisor seat. His political rival said he was also shocked by the tragedy.“I, like so many, am just devastated. … Someone who has given as Eric has, given to his country, serving the community, it's a big loss,” said Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover.“I think the last time I cried was 10 years ago. It really hurt. He's in a better place,” said church member Earl Nunn. The other couple in the plane were Nunn's neighbors, Craig and Michelle Wilson. They left behind three children. The city of Oakley, Calif., is setting up memorial accounts for the seven orphaned children.Funeral arrangements have not yet been set for their parents.
