LAS VEGAS -- For the first time in more than a decade, AAA expects travel numbers to go down for the 4th of July holiday, saying that many are not willing to pay the gas prices.
About 40 million people are expected to hit the road or air, which is about 1 million less than last year, company officials said.An additional part to the survey shows 77 percent of consumers blame lawmakers in Washington for the cost of gas, saying the government doesn't have an effective energy policy. And by 2010, some U.S. economists have predicted $7 a gallon gas.
