NFL star Javon Walker's friend and a 2006 Range Rover with California plates were what identified Arfat Fadel as Walker's assailant, according to Metro's incident report.

In the document released Thursday, police said Walker left Drai's Night Club with friend Lindsey Herman just after 5:30 a.m. June 16 and were followed by Fadel and another man.

After leaving the club, Herman said she and Walker were harassed by Fadel and his friend, and she eventually left Walker and went home.

Walker then entered the Bellagio Hotel-Casino for about 20 minutes to gamble, leaving with Fadel after, the report said.

Shortly thereafter, Fadel assaulted Walker, stealing his jewelry, money and about $1,000 in chips from the Hard Rock Hotel-Casino, police said.

A few days later, Herman was able to identify Fadel in a police lineup. Officers also matched Fadel's Range Rover to that of the vehicle Walker was seen near in a surveillance tape.

During police questioning, Fadel's girlfriend, Alicia Granstedt, told police that the couple had received an eviction notice on their home on June 13, and that neither was employed. She was later responsible for cashing in the Hard Rock poker chips, the report said.
