LAS VEGAS -- If Interstate 15 is part of your commute, start planning a different way to get to and from home.Construction is about to begin on I-15, which will reportedly cause the biggest traffic congestion in Nevada history.Road crews said they will reduce I-15 to two lanes in each direction from the Spaghetti Bowl to Lake Mead Boulevard.NDOT said you should find a new way to get around town, especially if you usually take the freeway."We really recommend that (rather) than taking the I-15, because we guarantee there will be congestion on the highway. It's painful, but it's a necessary inconvenience as we complete the design build," said NDOT’s Bob McKenzie.Construction is slated to begin as soon as July 14 and last through August 2009.
