Man Accused Of Firing Crossbow At Neighbor

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man used a crossbow pistol to end an argument over a dog, Lincoln police said.Police said Carlos Lupercio, 49, got into an argument with his 25-year-old neighbor about the breed of the neighbor's dog. The owner said the dog was a pit bull, but the older man said it was a Labrador, Omaha station KETV reported.After the argument, police said Lupercio, who is wheelchair bound, went into his apartment and returned with a black crossbow. Officers said Lupercio shot the crossbow when his neighbor tried to extend his hand to apologize.When police arrived, Lupercio still had the crossbow in his possession.
Later, he was arrested on charges of making terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, discharge of a weapon within city limits, resisting arrest and failure to comply.
