THE RANT
TOPIC: Child's Death In SUV
NAME: Becky
RANT: I think the mother and father should be put in prison and should not get there kids back. How do you forget your kid in the car for 17 hours? I just don't understand.
TOPIC: Javon Walker Attack
NAME: Hunter
RANT: Why are people trying to blame him for what he wears? How dumb is it to blame the victim? No one has the right to assault someone for any reason! Clean up the city before no one wants to come here anymore.
NAME: Tony
RANT: I feel sorry for Walker and what happened to him, but professional athletes and celebrities need to remember that they can't flaunt their money and jewelry and be safe. This town is full of predators who would steal, rob, beat and even kill you for what they want. They don't care if you are rich or poor. Show-off your money or personal belongings and someone's going to take it from you. Sure Vegas is a place to party, but by being too eccentric and over the top, someone's going to take advantage of you.
NAME: Jenn
RANT: Why is it that because this man flaunts his wealth and parties here in Las Vegas -- where what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas -- he is some how deserving or at fault for this crime against him? Does the woman that walks down the street flaunting her body by wearing too little clothing some how deserve to be raped? Come on! No one deserves to be a victim of crime! Please people don't start justifying criminal acts!
TOPIC: Class of 2008
NAME: Cheryl
RANT: I just want to say congratulations to the graduating class of 2008 here in Southern Nevada. In today's society, all you hear is negative press on teenagers and the school district. I attended a local high school graduation and it was really great to see that these teenagers/young adults care about their families, community, and future. Way to go, class of '08! Congratulations!
