LAS VEGAS -- State Rep. Francis Allen will be in a Las Vegas courtroom on June 30 for a criminal domestic violence charge after being accused of stabbing her new husband in the arm with a steak knife.Allen has yet to enter a plea to the felony charge of battery with use of a deadly weapon. She is free on $3,000 bail, pending the preliminary hearing.Allen stabbed her husband, Paul Maineri, in the left forearm during an argument on May 20, after she said Maineri embarrassed her at a public function, police said.Maineri drove himself to a hospital, where he received three stitches to close the wound.
The couple was married March 29.
