LAS VEGAS -- Metro police have identified a 5-month-old girl who they say was killed by her father.

Zamani Naima Hill died shortly after arriving at an area hospital. Physicians said she had injuries consistent with child abuse.

Zamani's father, Isaac Hill, 29, was wanted in connection with her injuries, police said. Zamani had been in her father's care at the time that the she received the injuries.

Reno police arrested Hill late Tuesday afternoon. He will be brought back to Las Vegas later this week.

Hill is facing one count of murder by child abuse in connection with Zamani's death, police said.
