LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas man who police said killed his 5-month-old daughter has been arrested in Reno, Nev.

Isaac Hill, 29, has been booked on one count of murder by child abuse.

Police said the girl, who had been in her father's care, was taken to an area hospital on May 5 in extreme medical distress. She later died of her injuries at the hospital.

The girl's fatal injuries were consistent with child abuse, police said, causing officers to search for Hill.

Hill was found in Reno and arrested, police said. He will be brought to Las Vegas later this week.

Metro police will be holding a news conference on Wednesday afternoon to discuss more details about this investigation.
