Thomas Accused Of Leaving Man In Vehicle After Killing

LAS VEGAS -- A preliminary hearing was set for Tuesday morning for one of the men accused of killing a valley man and leaving him in his Escalade.Police said Kenneth Thomas, who appears in court Tuesday, and David Jones killed Heinz Wietfeldt, 62, last month.Investigators said the two ambushed Wietfeldt when he went to a prostitute's apartment.Police said they robbed, beat and killed him before leaving his body in his Escalade in Southern Highlands.
