Man Shot While Taking Out Trash

Police Don't Know If Shooting Is Gang-Related

LAS VEGAS -- A man is in critical condition after being shot in the stomach while taking out the trash.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sahara Glen Apartments.

The man was taking his trash out to the Dumpster when several men attacked him, shooting him in the stomach, police said.

He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and underwent surgery to repair the damage, but he is still listed in critical condition.

Officers do not know if this shooting is gang-related. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
