You can get behind the wheel of a new car that doesn't even need gas.

The fuel cell electric vehicle is on display at the Rio Hotel at Hotel Rio Drive.

It's part of General Motors' Project Runway program.

The car runs on hydrogen and emits nothing but vaporized water.

"It's fun to drive. It's got really quick pick-up. It's exciting. It produces no emissions at all –no petroleum," said General Motors spokesman Pete Barkey.

The fuel cell is powered by an electric motor that can run for about 150 miles on one tank of hydrogen.
