Officials of the Nevada Department of Corrections said an inmate walked away from the Casa Grande Transitional Housing facility sometime after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Inmate Orestes Alberto Vazquez, 43, is Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall, approximately 180 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Vazquez has a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm, a scar on his neck, left leg and right cheek.

The NDOC said he was serving an 18- to 48-month sentence for attempted possession of a stolen vehicle, and that he was received from Clark County.
