A wildfire broke out Thursday in Nevada's Pine Nut Mountains, about eight miles southeast of Dayton, burning up to 40 acres.

The fire, of undetermined origin, was in the Rawe Peak area, near the old ghost town of Como. Initial reports didn't list any structure damage, although the fire knocked out a power line.

Fire crews from the federal Bureau of Land Management, Lyon County and state Forestry Division were dispatched to the fire area.
