LAS VEGAS -- In an effort to help the reported 2,000 homeless kids living on the streets of Las Vegas, the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth will be passing out street survival bags Wednesday.More than 100 people from the Uniprise Annual Customer Forum will be available to distribute the packages.The bags will include hand wipes, anti-bacterial hand gel, a toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, sunscreen, bandages, socks and snacks.
Partnership officials said a $40,000 donation from UnitedHealthcare provided the needed goods.
