Proposed Heliport Would Decrease Traffic At McCarran

LAS VEGAS -- A public hearing was held Tuesday for residents to voice their opinions about possible plans to build a heliport near Sloan and Interstate 15.Up to 100 helicopters travel from McCarran Airport and the Grand Canyon each day.The proposed heliport would decrease the noise and traffic at McCarran.The last time to comment on the heliport will be at 5 p.m. on Friday.
