If you're a heavy packer, it’s going to cost you.

Starting Monday, airlines will charge an average of $20 to $25 to check your second piece of luggage.

To help fliers avoid long lines, McCarran Airport was promoting Speed Check Advance.

It lets travelers check baggage and obtain their boarding passes at several off-airport locations.

The counters are located at the Luxor, the Venetian, the Las Vegas Convention Center and McCarran's Rent-A-Car center.
