LAS VEGAS -- The father police said stabbed his own daughter to death will be in court Monday.William Redman, 54, will find out if the homicide case will go to court.Redman attacked and killed his 12-year-old daughter, Gloria, in March, police said. Gloria's mother had left the two at their home to go to the store and when she returned, she found Redman outside with several cuts to his body and Gloria inside the home, dead, police said.Redman told an emergency worker that while watching a religious show he "saw God" just before attacking Gloria.While in the hospital recovering from what police called self-inflicted injuries, Redman was booked in absentia for the death of his daughter. His arrest report has been released to the media, but be aware it contains some graphic descriptions and may not be suitable for all readers.Gloria's school has set up a memorial fund at Silver State Credit Union.
