LAS VEGAS -- Two local teenagers charged with murder were in court Wednesday.

Ezekiel Williams and Gerald Davison are charged with murder in the shooting death of Chris Privett, 15. The first of nearly a dozen witnesses took the stand at their preliminary hearing.

Mandesha Walker pointed at her boyfriend, Williams, during the first day of his pretrial hearing, indicating that Williams, who she calls Zeke, drove the getaway car during the Palo Verde Shooting in February.

Walker testified she was in the car as Davidson, known as "G Baby," fired the gun.

Prosecutors painted a picture that the shooting was gang-related.

Walker said she recognized the gang's signs from MySpace, but when confronted with pictures from her boyfriend’s page, she was unable to identify the same signs.

Prosecutors claimed she was lying under oath for her boyfriend.

The preliminary hearing continues Thursday morning.

Walker is expected to be called back to the stand, and there will be 11 witnesses total, court officials said.

The preliminary hearing is expected to wrap up Friday.

The purpose is to see if the prosecution has enough evidence to take the case to trial.
