In an effort to cut down on the tagging across the Valley, the Clark County Commission will be using the month of April to cover graffiti.

Officials will recognize Graffiti Awareness Month by working throughout April to cover areas that they said have high vandalism rates.

Graffiti-cleanup materials will be available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the three Saturday cleanup dates at the locations. Those locations will also serve as the meeting spots for volunteers to find out where county staff will be assisting with graffiti cleanups on those mornings.

If you are interested in helping cover the graffiti, commissioners will hold meetings at the following places:

Commissioners Susan Brager, Chris Giunchigliani, Rory Reid and Lawrence Weekly are expected to assist with some of the cleanups.
