RENO, Nev. -- Clark County officials have identified how a woman who went missing after a New Year's Eve party was killed.Mariela Moreno, 20, was killed by blunt-force injuries to the head due to assault, according to the Review-Journal.Clark County coroner's officials issued a statement to the paper Thursday.Moreno was last seen alive by her boyfriend after a New Year's Eve party. He told police that he dropped Moreno off at her house, but did not wait to see if she made it inside.
Her family then began a search for the missing woman for almost two months before her body was found in Sunset Park.
