LAS VEGAS -- Two people died while on Lake Mead over the weekend.

The first death occurred Friday evening when a 60-year-old man was on his boat when police said it hit the shoreline of a cove and started sinking. Officers recovered his body near his sunken boat that night.

Coroner's officials are still trying to determine an exact cause of death.

On Saturday, a motorcyclist crashed on the Callville Bay access road, authorities said. Responding park rangers tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are still investigating the wreck.
