LAS VEGAS -- First the suspects in the O.J. Simpson heist case turned against each other. Now it's the alleged victims' turn.Memorabilia dealer Alfred Beardsley -- who said he was robbed at gunpoint by Simpson during a deal gone wrong -- is now suing the collectibles broker who arranged the meeting.According to documents obtained by TMZ, Beardsley is suing Thomas Riccio for staging the meeting between him, Bruce Fromong and an unknown third party. Beardsley said that Riccio knew Simpson was the third party before the meeting occued.Riccio has said he did not know guns would be in involved in the heist.Beardsley filed suit in Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, Calif.Beardsley claims that Riccio wanted to stage the meeting between him, Fromong and Simpson so it could be taped and sold to the press.The recording was eventually obtained by TMZ and released to the media.During testimony in Simpson's preliminary hearing, Riccio stated that he was recording the meeting for his protection, not so it could be sold to the press.Riccio's lawyer declined comment on the case filed by Beardsley.Beardsley was arrested in September for a parole violation.For more information on the Simpson case, visit the case's special section or view the national coverage.
