MGM Holds Rally For Monte Carlo Employees
Hundreds Gather To Be Thanked For Patience During Reconstruction

LAS VEGAS -- Monte Carlo employees are ready to go back to work.Hundreds gathered in excitement Thursday for a rally just for them in the Lance Burton theater.MGM officials said the rally was held to thank the employees for their patience during the reconstruction."Looking forward to the re-opening. Looking forward to getting back to work. This is a great company to work for. They did pay us the full thirty days, not just our salaries, but our gratuity compensation as well," said bell person Patrick Sampson.
A Monte Carlo spokesperson said repairs plus interrupting business cost the hotel an estimated $100 million.The Monte Carlo has been shut down since late January.
