OSHA Investigates Worker Death At Cosmopolitan

Worker Fell From Project Tower

State Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials are investigating the Cosmopolitan construction site after a worker fell to his death Monday night.

Clark County coroners have identified the man as Michael F. Taylor, 58, of Las Vegas. His body was found at the Cosmopolitan tower construction site about 8:30 p.m.

Authorities said they do not suspect foul play.

The project is a hotel and condominium complex near the Jockey Club on the Strip. Previously, there has been one serious injury reported at the site.
