Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama visited the Valley Friday during a campaign stop.

He greeted hundreds during his meeting at De La Sol High School, where he brought his signature campaign message to the group.

"If you decide you want change," he said, "we can have change."

The presidential hopeful made promises of changing health care, education and immigration, as well as speaking of pressing issues he plans to tackle.

"We can't wait for global warming," Obama said. "We can't wait to end the war in Iraq -- we can't wait."

Earlier in the day, Obama met with the Culinary Union. The 60,000-member-strong group endorsed the senator for president Wednesday.
