LAS VEGAS -- With about a week until the Nevada caucus, the race for the presidential nomination is heating up. Presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton campaigned downtown Thursday.Clinton knocked on doors downtown, meeting with local voters and efforting a big push to get people out on caucus day. She was swarmed by a mob of people, kids and media as she canvassed this downtown neighborhood.Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, went door to door, shaking hands and taking pictures. Most all residents met her with a warm welcome."I was shocked," resident Joe Reyes said. "I just never thought it was Hillary in town."Reyes was one of the lucky people who got to ask the candidate a question, and he targeted a key topic to a lot of Nevadans -- the foreclosure crisis."She answered it the way I wanted to hear," he said. "She wanted to stop that from happening."Clinton and her daughter also passed out maps to residents of their caucus location.
