DENVER -- The new year is bringing more than new jackpots to Colorado. Starting Tuesday at 8 a.m., 41 casinos in three cities will be smoke-free institutions.Casinos in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek will no longer allow smoking inside casino doors.Casino officials said part of the decision came in an effort to protect their employees’ health.
The casinos have been open for 16 years.
