LAS VEGAS -- Attorneys for Chester Stiles have waived the right to an evidentiary hearing and are set for trial.Stiles, 37, was arrested in October in connection with the creation of a pornographic videotape featuring a toddler. Police said Stiles sexually assaulted a 2-year-old girl and recorded it.The tape was turned over to authorities by Darrin Tuck in September. Tuck said he found the tape in the desert and has no connection with its creation.Through their attorney, the girl's family said they had no idea what had happened, and were shocked and devastated when they found out. The mother is expected to testify against Stiles during the hearing.
Stiles will be in court for arraignment next Thursday, Dec. 20.Stiles faces more than 20 charges in connection to the sexual assault. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
