Police are still searching for the man they said shot and killed a woman in a parked car last week.

Rachael Gandal was shot last Thursday night in a parking lot near Rainbow Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

The 28-year-old was an aspiring actress and model from New York state who had just moved to Las Vegas.

Fox5 spoke with one of her friends, Mario Zingaro, who said he was shocked to hear the news. He said Gandal “had a big heart.”

Police said a male suspect jumped into Gandal's car and then shot her.

He was last seen in a small black and silver vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
