LONDON -- Las Vegas was named the American city of the year at the World Leadership Awards in London this week.The honor recognizes the city for its commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents. It also recognized our commitment to sustainability for our alternative fuel program and the Centennial Hills master planned campus.The World Leadership Awards recognize the efforts of top cities that set a worldwide example of innovation, imagination and foresight in government.
