Construction Worker Dies After Fall

LAS VEGAS -- Clark County fire officials have confirmed that the man who fell from a construction project Tuesday died of his injuries.The incident happened after 9 a.m. at the Cosmopolitan construction project near the Jockey Club on the Strip.Police said David Rabun was wearing his safety harness, but the beam it was connected to gave way, causing him to fall 50 feet. Rabun suffered a significant head injury and was been transported to University Medical Center where he later died, police said.
