CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Gov. Jim Gibbons announced Tuesday the launch of a Web site to help Nevadans facing foreclosure. The Nevada Foreclosure Help site is a comprehensive resource designed to help borrowers make informed decisions about mortgage payments.“This Web site will serve as a one-stop location online where consumers can obtain information regarding foreclosure, including whom to call for specific help,” Gibbons said.Officials from Gibbons' office said the site is one phase in a multi-faceted program to reduce the number of foreclosures in Nevada. The program started with an industry meeting on Oct. 4 and will culminate with housing fairs that will be scheduled throughout the rest of 2007 and into 2008.For more information, visit the Nevada Foreclosure Help Web site.
