UPDATED: 12:36 pm PDT October 1, 2007

Nye County officers have identified the young girl in a sex abuse tape.

In the recording, the man names the girl, officers announced in a press conference. They do not know her exact location, and are still requesting the public's help locating her.

"Her is a very rare name, actually," Nye County Sheriff Tony Dameo said.

Officers also said that the girl has a distinguishing mark on her body, but would not clarify what it looks like or its location.

"Due to the nature of the investigation and the need for us to prioritize those leads, we're retaining its exact location at this time," said Detective David Boruchowitz, with the Nye County Sheriff's Office.

In the same conference, police said they are also looking for a person of interest in this case. Officers said Chester Arthur Stiles, 37, is wanted for questioning in regards to the investigation, but would not discuss his connection to the inquiry.

Stiles has been wanted by Metro police, officers said, since 2004 on suspicion of lewd acts with a minor.
