A man who claimed O.J. Simpson barged into a Las Vegas hotel room "commando style" and stole sports memorabilia is in critical condition at a hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Bruce Fromong, 53, of North Las Vegas, is in the intensive care ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Hospital spokeswoman Simi Singer said Fromong was admitted Monday night after having what's described as a "massive" heart attack.

Fromong is a dealer in sports memorabilia. He claims Simpson and other men stole sports items from him and another dealer in a hotel room last week.

Simpson was arrested Sunday on charges of armed robbery with a deadly weapon. He is currently awaiting a bail hearing at Clark County Detention Center.
