SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- A judge in Santa Monica has tentatively denied a request by the father of Ron Goldman for sweeping assessment of O.J. Simpson's earnings.Superior Court Judge Gerald Rosenberg is giving Fred Goldman's lawyer, David Cook, one week to come up with a list of sports memorabilia items the former football star is accused of stealing from a Las Vegas hotel room.Rosenberg denied today the latest effort by Fred Goldman to take Simpson's earnings from everything from autograph signings to videogames to satisfy a largely unpaid multimillion-dollar judgment 11 years ago.
Goldman announced Monday evening that his family would petition the courts of California for ownership of the memorabilia.
