LAS VEGAS -- O.J. Simpson is currently waiting for a decision on bail as to whether he will be released. Until that time, he will be in a location far less spacious than the Palms hotel room he inhabited at the time of his arrest.Simpson will be spending time in an 8-by-3.5-foot cell at the detention center."Although he's going to be treated like anyone else -- booked into CCDC -- he will be placed in an isolation cell and kept separate from the general population," CCDC Lt. Andrew Peralta said. "And that is for his protection and my staff's protection, having to deal with general population coming at him."
CCDC officials said Simpson is being treated like every other detainee.
