LAS VEGAS -- The cheer coach accused of running a high-profile prostitution ring appeared in court Monday.

Esperanza Brooks is charged with several felony counts, including pandering and living from the earnings of a prostitute. Her alleged accomplice, Rashena Kemp, faces the same charges.

Brooks also worked as a cheerleading coach at Andre Agassi Prep School.

Police said no cheerleaders were involved in the illegal activity.
